Have you seen those cars with big ads plastered on them roaming around high-traffic urban areas? According to a Yahoo! Finance article, these vehicles belong to get paid to drive programs which have gained popularity five to 10 years ago and are having a big comeback recently as companies are cutting costs for television campaigns and looking for more affordable advertising strategies.
The program works this way: A company hires people, mostly ordinary citizens, to drive around on their cars plastered with vinyl decals (also known as "auto wraps") and go about their normal routine like going to work or school. The car owner is then compensated. It depends on the company but pay ranges from $300 to $900. Easy money, if you ask me, considering that all you have to do is drive around. No disruptions on your “real” day job, no fees to pay. Some companies even give out gas or a brand new car for FREE!
